1. General provisions
TradeShield is a decision support tool for trade compliance. It is not legal advice, not a customs authority, and does not issue binding classification decisions. Final responsibility for export decisions always lies with the exporter or customs declarant.
2. Scope of service
The platform enables: HS classification of products (suggestive, non-binding), counterparty screening against sanctions databases (EU, OFAC, UN, UK), dual-use risk analysis, generation of context-aware AI recommendations. Results are informational and supportive only.
3. Limitation of liability
The Operator is not responsible for decisions made based on AI-generated analyses. The user agrees to independently verify results with the competent authorities (national customs, customs office). TradeShield does not guarantee the completeness of the sanctions database at any given moment.
4. Plans and payments
Free: 10 products, 10 counterparties, 10 AI analyses / month. Business: unlimited resources, 299 EUR / month. Enterprise: custom pricing. Payments handled by Stripe / Paddle. No refunds for partial periods.
5. Data and intellectual property
Data entered by the user remains their property. The user receives a non-exclusive license to use the platform. Reverse engineering, API scraping and any automated use outside the UI are prohibited.
6. Termination
You can delete your account at any time in the Account & data. panel. Once confirmed, all products, counterparties, analyses and user profile are irreversibly deleted (GDPR Art. 17). The audit log may be retained for 12 months for security reasons.
